The United Arab Emirates (X units) and Turkey (X units) dominates imports structure, together creating 79% of total imports. It was distantly followed by Iraq (X units), creating a 5.1% share of total imports. The following importers - Iran (X units), Yemen (X units), Israel (X units) and Jordan (X units) - each resulted at an 11% share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Iraq (with a CAGR of +23.8%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest condom importing markets in the Middle East were Turkey ($X), the United Arab Emirates ($X) and Israel ($X), with a combined 53% share of total imports. Jordan, Iraq, Yemen and Iran lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 7%.

Yemen, with a CAGR of +23.2%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
