In 2021, the United Arab Emirates (X tons) and Turkey (X tons) represented the main exporters of unroasted decaffeinated coffee in the Middle East, together committing 59% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Saudi Arabia (X tons), Yemen (X tons), Jordan (X tons) and Kuwait (X tons), together achieving a 35% share of total exports. Syrian Arab Republic (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

In general, imports posted a notable expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 91%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2018 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, unroasted decaffeinated coffee imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports saw a strong expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 95% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2018 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

Jordan (X tons) and Saudi Arabia (X tons) represented roughly 64% of total imports in 2021.
