The shipments of the one major exporters of domestic, non-electric, cooking or heating appliances, namely Turkey, represented more than two-thirds of total export.
Turkey was also the fastest-growing in terms of the domestic, non-electric, cooking or heating appliances exports, with a CAGR of +10.4% from 2012 to 2021. Turkey (+5.2 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Turkey ($X) also remains the largest domestic, non-electric, cooking or heating appliance supplier in the Middle East.

In 2021, Saudi Arabia (X tons) and Iraq (X tons) were the largest importers of domestic, non-electric, cooking or heating appliances in the Middle East, together creating 49% of total imports. Israel (X tons) ranks next in terms of the total imports with a 12% share, followed by the United Arab Emirates (9.1%), Oman (4.9%) and Lebanon (4.8%). Yemen (X tons), Kuwait (X tons), Jordan (X tons), Qatar (X tons), Turkey (X tons), Bahrain (X tons) and Iran (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the key importing countries, was attained by Israel (with a CAGR of +11.5%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest domestic, non-electric, cooking or heating appliance importing markets in the Middle East were Saudi Arabia ($X), Iraq ($X) and Israel ($X), together accounting for 60% of total imports.
Israel, with a CAGR of +13.8%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
