Kuwait, with a CAGR of +59.8%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price in the Middle East stood at $X per square meter in 2021, shrinking by -33.5% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price recorded a mild shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 an increase of 69%. The volume of import peaked in 2021 and is likely to see gradual growth in years to come.

In value terms, Turkey ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported endless bands for machinery, of stainless steel in the Middle East, comprising 66% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Kuwait ($X), with a 16% share of total imports. It was followed by Israel, with a 5.8% share.

In Turkey, endless machinery band imports expanded at an average annual rate of +18.5% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Kuwait (+56.1% per year) and Israel (+4.2% per year).
