Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, gas supply meter imports soared to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 49%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

Turkey represented the key importer of gas supply or production meters in the Middle East, with the volume of imports amounting to X units, which was approx. 41% of total imports in 2021. The second position in the ranking was held by the United Arab Emirates ($X), with a 22% share of total imports. It was followed by Israel, with a 9.8% share.
