In 2021, after two years of decline, there was significant growth in overseas purchases of gear cutting, gear grinding or gear finishing machines, when their volume increased by 53% to X units. In general, imports, however, recorded a perceptible contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 530%. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
