The volume of export peaked at X units in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In Turkey, hand sieve exports expanded at an average annual rate of +5.3% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Syrian Arab Republic (+6.0% per year) and the United Arab Emirates (-14.5% per year).

In 2022, the export price in the Middle East amounted to $X per unit, shrinking by -7.8% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price saw a slight downturn. Turkey (+10 p.p.), Iraq (+6.6 p.p.), Iran (+5 p.p.), Kuwait (+3.4 p.p.) and the United Arab Emirates (+1.9 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Israel and Lebanon saw its share reduced by -2.8% and -23.8% from 2012 to 2022, respectively.

In value terms, the United Arab Emirates ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported hand sieves and hand riddles in the Middle East, comprising 35% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Turkey ($X), with a 17% share of total imports. It was followed by Israel, with a 12% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value in the United Arab Emirates totaled +8.8%. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Turkey (-2.8% per year) and Israel (+4.6% per year).
