From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

The following importers - Bahrain (X units) and Iraq (X units) - each resulted at a 5.8% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Qatar (with a CAGR of +30.6%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the United Arab Emirates ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported handbags in the Middle East, comprising 53% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Turkey ($X), with an 11% share of total imports. It was followed by Qatar, with an 8.7% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in the United Arab Emirates amounted to +12.5%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Turkey (+2.4% per year) and Qatar (+15.2% per year).
Import Prices by Country
The import price in the Middle East stood at $X per unit in 2022, shrinking by -17.3% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, saw strong growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when the import price increased by 29,079%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per unit, and then shrank notably in the following year.
