It was distantly followed by Iran (X tons), the United Arab Emirates (X tons) and Lebanon (X tons), together making up a 39% share of total exports. Syrian Arab Republic (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

In Turkey, homogenised jam and marmalade exports contracted by an average annual rate of -2.3% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: the United Arab Emirates (+1.1% per year) and Iran (-6.5% per year).
Export Prices by Country
The export price in the Middle East stood at $X per ton in 2022, falling by -1.7% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when the export price increased by 25% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export prices reached the maximum at $X per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Lebanon ($X per ton), while Syrian Arab Republic ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United Arab Emirates (+3.8%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the export price figures.

Imports in the Middle East
In 2022, the amount of homogenised preparations of jams, fruit jellies and marmalades imported in the Middle East expanded markedly to X tons, increasing by 6.1% compared with the year before. In general, imports, however, showed a perceptible descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when imports increased by 64%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, homogenised jam and marmalade imports rose sharply to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a noticeable downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 58%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, the United Arab Emirates (X tons) and Israel (X tons) represented the main importers of homogenised preparations of jams, fruit jellies and marmalades in the Middle East, together amounting to approx. 51% of total imports. Iran (X tons) held the next position in the ranking, followed by Iraq (X tons), Kuwait (X tons) and Turkey (X tons). All these countries together took near 41% share of total imports. Oman (X tons) took a little share of total imports.

The import price in the Middle East stood at $X per ton in 2022, surging by 5.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a perceptible slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 14%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per ton. From 2014 to 2022, the import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Oman ($X per ton), while Iraq ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
