In 2021, after three years of growth, there was decline in the Middle Eastern inactive yeast market, when its value decreased by -2.9% to $X. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, inactive yeast imports reached $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 with an increase of 18%.
