Mixed Juices Market Size in the Middle East
After two years of decline, the Middle Eastern mixed juices market increased by 25% to $X in 2022. Overall, consumption showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The level of consumption peaked at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, consumption stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Mixed Juices Production in the Middle East
In value terms, mixed juices production dropped notably to $X in 2022 estimated in export price. In general, production showed a temperate expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the production volume increased by 112% against the previous year. Over the period under review, production reached the peak level at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, production stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Exports in the Middle East
In 2022, overseas shipments of mixtures of fruit and vegetable juices decreased by -0.5% to X tons, falling for the seventh consecutive year after four years of growth. Overall, exports showed a drastic downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when exports increased by 9.5% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, mixed juices exports expanded significantly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a noticeable decrease. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when exports increased by 18% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.
Exports by Country
Saudi Arabia was the largest exporting country with an export of about X tons, which finished at 60% of total exports. The United Arab Emirates (X tons) took a 14% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Turkey (11%), Israel (5.7%) and Kuwait (5.5%). Oman (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
Exports from Saudi Arabia decreased at an average annual rate of -11.6% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Oman (+35.8%) and Turkey (+11.5%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Oman emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the Middle East, with a CAGR of +35.8% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Israel (-1.7%), the United Arab Emirates (-9.6%) and Kuwait (-9.8%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Turkey (+9.4 p.p.), Israel (+3.2 p.p.) and Oman (+1.8 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while Saudi Arabia saw its share reduced by -13.9% from 2012 to 2022, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Saudi Arabia ($X) remains the largest mixed juices supplier in the Middle East, comprising 56% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Turkey ($X), with a 16% share of total exports. It was followed by the United Arab Emirates, with a 10% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value in Saudi Arabia amounted to -6.4%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Turkey (+14.0% per year) and the United Arab Emirates (-7.8% per year).
Export Prices by Country
In 2022, the export price in the Middle East amounted to $X per ton, picking up by 7.4% against the previous year. Export price indicated resilient growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +5.6% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, mixed juices export price increased by +63.9% against 2015 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when the export price increased by 19% against the previous year. The level of export peaked in 2022 and is likely to see gradual growth in the near future.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Israel ($X per ton), while Oman ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Saudi Arabia (+5.8%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports in the Middle East
In 2022, after six years of decline, there was growth in supplies from abroad of mixtures of fruit and vegetable juices, when their volume increased by 2.1% to X tons. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a abrupt slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when imports increased by 45% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2016 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, mixed juices imports stood at $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a pronounced reduction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 33%. The level of import peaked at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
Imports by Country
The countries with the highest levels of mixed juices imports in 2022 were the United Arab Emirates (X tons), Saudi Arabia (X tons), Oman (X tons) and Kuwait (X tons), together accounting for 79% of total import. Yemen (X tons) held a 9.4% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Qatar (4.8%). Bahrain (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Qatar (with a CAGR of +2.1%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest mixed juices importing markets in the Middle East were Saudi Arabia ($X), the United Arab Emirates ($X) and Oman ($X), together comprising 67% of total imports. Kuwait, Yemen, Qatar and Bahrain lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 28%.
In terms of the main importing countries, Yemen, with a CAGR of +6.4%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
In 2022, the import price in the Middle East amounted to $X per ton, surging by 8% against the previous year. Import price indicated a resilient increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +6.2% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, mixed juices import price increased by +83.9% against 2015 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when the import price increased by 28%. Over the period under review, import prices hit record highs in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Saudi Arabia ($X per ton), while Bahrain ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Yemen (+5.5%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
