Nickel Market Size in the Middle East

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +95.8% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 78%. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, nickel imports reached $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, saw a measured increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 82% against the previous year. The level of import peaked in 2022 and is likely to continue growth in the near future.

The United Arab Emirates (X tons) and Turkey (X tons) dominates imports structure, together creating 92% of total imports. It was distantly followed by Iran (X tons), making up a 6.3% share of total imports.
