In value terms, Turkey ($X) remains the largest non-numerically controlled lathe supplier in the Middle East, comprising 62% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Iran ($X), with a 24% share of total exports. It was followed by Israel, with a 2.3% share.
In Turkey, non-numerically controlled lathe exports increased at an average annual rate of +22.6% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Iran (+2.6% per year) and Israel (+31.2% per year).
Export Prices by Country
The export price in the Middle East stood at $X per unit in 2021, falling by -19.6% against the previous year. Export price indicated a moderate expansion from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.3% over the last nine years. Over the period under review, non-numerically controlled laimports reached the maximum at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
