In value terms, Turkey ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported optical telescopes in the Middle East, comprising 80% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Israel ($X), with a 6.7% share of total imports. It was followed by the United Arab Emirates, with a 6% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in Turkey totaled +16.7%. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Israel (-16.4% per year) and the United Arab Emirates (-7.0% per year).
