In 2022, carrot and turnip exports in the Middle East fell to X tons, which is down by -7.3% compared with the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, exports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 22%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2017 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, carrot and turnip exports contracted to $X in 2022. In general, exports recorded a mild decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by 23%.
