The Middle Eastern boiler parts market reduced slightly to $X in 2021, declining by -4.2% against the previous year. Overall, consumption saw a noticeable downturn. Turkey was the major importer of parts of boilers for central heating in the Middle East, with the volume of imports amounting to X tons, which was approx. 57% of total imports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Iran (X tons), Jordan (X tons) and Lebanon (X tons), together making up a 38% share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to boiler parts imports into Turkey stood at -2.1%. At the same time, Lebanon (+34.7%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Lebanon emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the Middle East, with a CAGR of +34.7% from 2012-2021. Jordan experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. In value terms, Turkey ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported parts of boilers for central heating in the Middle East, comprising 65% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Iran ($X), with a 24% share of total imports. It was followed by Jordan, with a 2.3% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in Turkey amounted to -3.3%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Iran (-18.8% per year) and Jordan (-10.5% per year).

Import Prices by Country

In 2021, the import price in the Middle East amounted to $X per ton, falling by -10.2% against the previous year. Overall, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 25%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2017 to 2021, the import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Iran ($X per ton), while Jordan ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Iran (-1.1%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the import price figures.
