Israel was the key exporting country with an export of about X tons, which recorded X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Lebanon (X tons), achieving a X% share of total exports. The following exporters - Jordan (X tons) and Turkey (X tons) - each reached a X% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to phosphatic fertilizer exports from Israel stood at X%. At the same time, Turkey (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Turkey emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the Middle East, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. Jordan experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Lebanon (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of Israel (X p.p.) and Turkey (X p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total exports from 2012-2022, the share of Lebanon (X p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

Export Prices by Country
In 2022, the export price in the Middle East amounted to $X per ton, rising by X% against the previous year. Export price indicated measured growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, phosphatic fertilizer export price increased by X% against 2020 indices. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of X%. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, phosphatic fertilizer imports reduced remarkably to $X in 2022. Overall, imports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Imports by Country
Iran was the key importer of phosphatic fertilizers in the Middle East, with the volume of imports accounting for X tons, which was approx. X% of total imports in 2022. Turkey (X tons) took the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Syrian Arab Republic (X tons) and Iraq (X tons). All these countries together took approx. X% share of total imports. Palestine (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
Iran experienced a relatively flat trend pattern with regard to volume of imports of phosphatic fertilizers. At the same time, Syrian Arab Republic (X%), Palestine (X%), Turkey (X%) and Iraq (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Syrian Arab Republic emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the Middle East, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. Turkey (X p.p.), Syrian Arab Republic (X p.p.), Iraq (X p.p.) and Palestine (X p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Iran saw its share reduced by X% from 2012 to 2022, respectively.
