Turkey (X units) and Saudi Arabia (X units) prevails in exports structure, together mixing up 76% of total exports. Kuwait (X units) took a 6.6% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Bahrain (5.7%) and the United Arab Emirates (4.6%). The following exporters - Oman (X units) and Israel (X units) - together made up 6.4% of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main exporting countries, was attained by Kuwait (with a CAGR of +45.9%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Turkey ($X) remains the largest pile-driver supplier in the Middle East, comprising 58% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Saudi Arabia ($X), with a 20% share of total exports. It was followed by the United Arab Emirates, with a 12% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in Turkey stood at +43.6%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Saudi Arabia (+21.2% per year) and the United Arab Emirates (+8.5% per year).

In 2021, the export price in the Middle East amounted to $X per unit, picking up by 5.6% against the previous year. Export price indicated tangible growth from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.7% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. It was distantly followed by Iraq (X units), creating a 4.8% share of total imports. Jordan (X units), Oman (X units), Lebanon (X units), Bahrain (X units) and Israel (X units) held a minor share of total imports.

Imports into the United Arab Emirates increased at an average annual rate of +28.6% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, Israel (+33.0%), Jordan (+23.7%), Bahrain (+16.1%) and Iraq (+10.4%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Israel emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the Middle East, with a CAGR of +33.0% from 2012-2021. By contrast, Oman (-9.1%) and Lebanon (-24.9%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. The United Arab Emirates (+66 p.p.), Jordan (+3.3 p.p.), Iraq (+1.9 p.p.) and Israel (+1.5 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Oman and Lebanon saw its share reduced by -8.5% and -50.5% from 2012 to 2021, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
