Israel dominates exports structure, reaching X tons, which was near 88% of total exports in 2021. The following exporters - the United Arab Emirates (X tons), Saudi Arabia (X tons), Turkey (X tons) and Oman (X tons) - together made up 11% of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to radar apparatus exports from Israel stood at +6.2%. At the same time, Oman (+30.5%), Saudi Arabia (+12.4%) and the United Arab Emirates (+9.0%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Oman emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the Middle East, with a CAGR of +30.5% from 2012-2021. In 2021, the export price in the Middle East amounted to $X per ton, declining by -55.3% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price showed a pronounced decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 299%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per ton. From 2014 to 2021, the export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Turkey ($X per ton), while Israel ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Oman (+11.2%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

Imports in the Middle East
In 2021, imports of radar apparatus in the Middle East surged to X tons, growing by 45% against the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a deep reduction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 157%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, radar apparatus imports soared to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, saw a drastic downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 147% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2017 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

Turkey (X tons) and Saudi Arabia (X tons) represented roughly 69% of total imports in 2021. It was distantly followed by the United Arab Emirates (X tons), Oman (X tons), Israel (X tons) and Qatar (X tons), together committing a 26% share of total imports. Iraq (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main importing countries, was attained by Turkey (with a CAGR of +21.1%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Saudi Arabia ($X), Turkey ($X) and the United Arab Emirates ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2021, together comprising 77% of total imports. These countries were followed by Oman, Qatar, Israel and Iraq, which together accounted for a further 20%.
Iraq, with a CAGR of +10.4%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
In 2021, the import price in the Middle East amounted to $X per ton, shrinking by -9.1% against the previous year. Overall, the import price saw a mild slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 an increase of 119%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2015 to 2021, the import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($X per ton), while Turkey ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United Arab Emirates (+8.2%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the import price figures.
