The following exporters - Oman (X tons), Israel (X tons) and Lebanon (X tons) - each accounted for a 5.7% share of total exports.

Exports from Turkey increased at an average annual rate of +10.8% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Oman (+26.2%) and Iran (+19.4%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Oman emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the Middle East, with a CAGR of +26.2% from 2012-2022. By contrast, the United Arab Emirates (-5.6%), Lebanon (-9.9%) and Israel (-29.0%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of Turkey (+50 p.p.), Iran (+5.4 p.p.) and Oman (+2 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total exports from 2012-2022, the share of Lebanon (-2.1 p.p.), the United Arab Emirates (-5.9 p.p.) and Israel (-46.5 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.

In value terms, Turkey ($X) remains the largest plastic ornamental articles supplier in the Middle East, comprising 64% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by the United Arab Emirates ($X), with a 15% share of total exports. It was followed by Israel, with a 4.4% share.

In Turkey, plastic ornamental articles exports expanded at an average annual rate of +9.8% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: the United Arab Emirates (+1.6% per year) and Israel (-28.1% per year).

Export Prices by Country

In 2022, the export price in the Middle East amounted to $X per ton, rising by 7.7% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, recorded a pronounced slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when the export price increased by 27%.
