The Middle Eastern preserved sweet corn market declined notably to $X in 2022, waning by -26.2% against the previous year. In value terms, preserved sweet corn exports rose rapidly to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, enjoyed strong growth. In value terms, preserved sweet corn imports contracted notably to $X in 2022. In general, imports recorded a slight reduction. The import price in the Middle East stood at $X per ton in 2022, increasing by 3.5% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 7.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import prices attained the peak figure in 2022 and is likely to see gradual growth in years to come.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Turkey ($X per ton), while Lebanon ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
