The Middle Eastern tin bar market dropped to $X in 2022, which is down by -8.6% against the previous year. In general, consumption, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, the market attained the maximum level at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, consumption failed to regain momentum.

In 2022, the amount of tin bars, rods, profiles and wires imported in the Middle East soared to X tons, picking up by 17% on the previous year. Overall, imports continue to indicate a remarkable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when imports increased by 61%. The volume of import peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.
