Saudi Arabia was also the fastest-growing in terms of the uncoated felt paper and paperboard exports, with a CAGR of +9.0% from 2012 to 2022. Jordan (-2.2%) and the United Arab Emirates (-15.5%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, uncoated felt paper imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports recorded a slight increase. Jordan (X tons) and Kuwait (X tons) held a minor share of total imports.
