Iraq (+14 p.p.), Turkey (+3.1 p.p.) and Yemen (+2.7 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while the United Arab Emirates saw its share reduced by -15.3% from 2012 to 2022, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the United Arab Emirates ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported women's or girls' clothing (knitted or crocheted) in the Middle East, comprising 42% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Israel ($X), with a 9.6% share of total imports. It was followed by Iraq, with a 9.3% share.
