Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

France (X units), Spain (X units) and Portugal (X units) were the main destinations of baby garment exports from Morocco, with a combined 99% share of total exports.

In value terms, baby garment imports reduced dramatically to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 50% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X, and then declined notably in the following year.

Turkey (X units), China (X units) and India (X units) were the main suppliers of baby garment imports to Morocco, together accounting for 73% of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Turkey (with a CAGR of +42.8%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Turkey ($X), China ($X) and India ($X) constituted the largest baby garment suppliers to Morocco, together accounting for 76% of total imports.

In terms of the main suppliers, Turkey, with a CAGR of +38.3%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the highest price was recorded for prices from India ($X per unit) and Turkey ($X per unit), while the price for Portugal ($X per unit) and Cambodia ($X per unit) were amongst the lowest.
