From 2018 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, animal guts exports fell markedly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, enjoyed resilient growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by 117% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

France (X tons) was the main destination for animal guts exports from Morocco, accounting for a 37% share of total exports. Moreover, animal guts exports to France exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Spain (X tons), twofold.
