In 2022, after two years of growth, there was significant decline in shipments abroad of polycarbonates (in primary forms), when their volume decreased by -16.9% to X tons. In general, imports recorded a prominent expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 43%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in years to come.

In value terms, polycarbonate imports soared to $X in 2022. Overall, imports saw a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by 54%. Imports peaked in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in years to come.

Spain (X tons), Germany (X tons) and Italy (X tons) were the main suppliers of polycarbonate imports to Morocco, with a combined 71% share of total imports.
