Vietnam (X units), Thailand (X units) and Malaysia (X units) were the main destinations of exports of aluminium casks, drums, cans, boxes and similar containers from Myanmar, with a combined 72% share of total exports.

In value terms, imports of aluminium casks, drums, cans, boxes and similar containers surged to $X in 2022. In general, imports continue to indicate prominent growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 419%. Imports peaked at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

Malaysia (X units), Thailand (X units) and Vietnam (X units) were the main suppliers of imports of aluminium casks, drums, cans, boxes and similar containers to Myanmar, with a combined 97% share of total imports.
