The Myanmar's broom, brush, and mop market skyrocketed to $X in 2022, increasing by 30% against the previous year. Malaysia (X units), India (X units) and Pakistan (X units) were the main destinations of broom, brush, and mop exports from Myanmar, with a combined 77% share of total exports. South Korea, Thailand and China lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 21%.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Thailand (with a CAGR of +66.6%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, broom, brush, and mop imports soared to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports posted a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of 193%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2016 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2022, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of broom, brush, and mop to Myanmar, accounting for a 78% share of total imports.
