The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 221%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, non-medical x-ray imports shrank rapidly to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, saw a mild expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 331%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

The United States (X tons), China (X tons) and France (X tons) were the main suppliers of non-medical x-ray imports to Myanmar, together accounting for 53% of total imports. The UK, Germany, Thailand, Russia and Malaysia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 35%.

From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Russia (with a CAGR of +70.7%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
