From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value to Germany stood at +12.2%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: France (+13.0% per year) and Belgium (+5.4% per year).

Imports into the Netherlands
After two years of decline, supplies from abroad of brassieres of textile materials, whether or not elasticated increased by 25% to X units in 2021. Imports peaked at X units in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, brassiere imports surged to $X in 2021. In general, total imports indicated a buoyant expansion from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +6.2% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

China (X units), Bangladesh (X units) and Germany (X units) were the main suppliers of brassiere imports to the Netherlands, together accounting for 68% of total imports.
