As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X, and then shrank notably in the following year.

Germany (X units) was the main destination for snow motor vehicle exports from the Netherlands, with a 40% share of total exports. Moreover, snow motor vehicle exports to Germany exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Belgium (X units), threefold. Overall, imports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 68% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X units in 2021, and then declined rapidly in the following year.

In value terms, snow motor vehicle imports fell sharply to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a perceptible expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when imports increased by 157%. Imports peaked at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

China (X units), Taiwan (Chinese) (X units) and Germany (X units) were the main suppliers of snow motor vehicle imports to the Netherlands, with a combined 89% share of total imports. The United States, the UK, Hong Kong SAR and Belgium lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 8.9%.
