In 2021, the average memories export price amounted to $X per unit, picking up by 5.9% against the previous year. In general, export price indicated buoyant growth from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +12.1% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, memories export price increased by +69.8% against 2015 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when the average export price increased by 98%. Imports into the Netherlands
In 2021, supplies from abroad of multichip integrated circuits: memories was finally on the rise to reach X units for the first time since 2018, thus ending a two-year declining trend. Overall, imports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 with an increase of 74% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X units in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, memories imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports saw significant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 62%. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in the near future.

France (X units), Taiwan (Chinese) (X units) and Germany (X units) were the main suppliers of memories imports to the Netherlands, together accounting for 64% of total imports. China, Thailand, Ireland, South Korea, the United States, the Philippines, Japan and the UK lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 29%.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by South Korea (with a CAGR of +18.8%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
