Relay Market Size in the Netherlands

In 2022, the Dutch relay market was finally on the rise to reach $X for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year declining trend. Over the period under review, consumption recorded strong growth. As a result, consumption attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Relay exports from the Netherlands shrank dramatically to X units in 2022, reducing by -21% on 2021. Overall, exports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 57%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X units, and then fell sharply in the following year.

In value terms, relay exports reduced to $X in 2022. In general, exports showed a pronounced setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 44% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Germany (X units) was the main destination for relay exports from the Netherlands, with a 32% share of total exports.
