In 2022, the amount of roasted malt imported into the Netherlands surged to X tons, increasing by 59% against 2021 figures. Overall, imports showed pronounced growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 119%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, roasted malt imports soared to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern.
