Exports from the Netherlands

Germany (X tons) was the main destination for milled rice exports from the Netherlands, with a X% share of total exports. Moreover, milled rice exports to Germany exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, the UK (X tons), twofold. The third position in this ranking was occupied by France (X tons), with a X% share.

From 2007 to 2018, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Germany amounted to +X%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: the UK (+X% per year) and France (+X% per year).

In that year, the average export prices for semi-milled or wholly milled (bleached) rice attained their peak level of $X per ton. From 2009 to 2018, the growth in terms of the average export prices for semi-milled or wholly milled (bleached) rice remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major foreign markets. In 2018, the highest prices were recorded for prices to Germany ($X per ton) and Sweden ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Ireland ($X per ton) and the UK ($X per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany, while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin; the country with the highest price was Thailand ($X per ton), while the price for Greece ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the U.S., while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
