Non-mineral or non-aerated water imports into the Netherlands skyrocketed to X litres in 2021, growing by 28% against 2020 figures. Overall, imports, however, recorded a noticeable descent. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X litres in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, non-mineral or non-aerated water imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. In general, imports saw prominent growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 77%. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2021, France (X litres) constituted the largest non-mineral or non-aerated water supplier to the Netherlands, with a 54% share of total imports.
