As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2020 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, artificial and colloidal graphite exports declined markedly to $X in 2021. Overall, exports, however, saw a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 with an increase of 491%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2020 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Thailand (X tons), India (X tons) and Australia (X tons) were the main destinations of artificial and colloidal graphite exports from New Zealand, together comprising 100% of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Thailand (with a CAGR of +368.6%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

China (X tons) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 6.4% share.
