There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Australia ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Canada ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

Dry bean imports into New Zealand declined modestly to X tons in 2022, dropping by -2.1% against the year before. Over the period under review, imports saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 38%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
