Preserved asparagus imports into New Zealand fell notably to X tons in 2022, with a decrease of -30.7% on 2021. Over the period under review, imports saw a noticeable curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when imports increased by 184%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2014 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, preserved asparagus imports dropped remarkably to $X in 2022. Overall, imports showed a slight decrease.
