Imports peaked at X tons in 2021, and then shrank in the following year.

In value terms, concrete tile imports reduced to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, posted a remarkable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 55% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X, and then dropped in the following year.

China (X tons), Australia (X tons) and Israel (X tons) were the main suppliers of concrete tile imports to New Zealand, together accounting for 90% of total imports. Spain, the United States and Italy lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 6.5%.
