In value terms, bridge exports contracted markedly to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a drastic downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when exports increased by 45% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Canada represented the largest exporting country with an export of around X tons, which resulted at 81% of total exports. It was distantly followed by the United States (X tons), comprising a 19% share of total exports.
Canada experienced a relatively flat trend pattern with regard to volume of exports of bridges, bridge sections, towers and lattice masts (of iron or steel).
