As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons, and then dropped rapidly in the following year.

In value terms, cocoa bean imports fell significantly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 27%.
