In value terms, the United States ($X) remains the largest computing machinery supplier in Northern America, comprising 95% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Canada ($X), with a 4.6% share of total exports.

Imports in Northern America
After two years of decline, supplies from abroad of computing machinery and parts and accessories thereof increased by 3.7% to X tons in 2021. Total imports indicated a measured increase from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +3.6% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports decreased by -16.9% against 2016 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 80% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2017 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Canada (-3.9%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period.
