In value terms, sugar beet exports rose sharply to $X in 2022. In general, exports continue to indicate a precipitous shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when exports increased by 3,629% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The United States represented the largest exporting country with an export of about X tons, which recorded 70% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Canada (X tons), creating a 30% share of total exports.
