Sweden (X tons), France (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main destinations of copper pipe and fitting exports from Norway, together comprising 67% of total exports. Denmark, Spain, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Switzerland lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 25%.

Imports into Norway
In 2021, approx. X tons of copper tubes, pipes and fitting were imported into Norway; remaining stable against the year before. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +3.4% over the period from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 37%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2019; afterwards, it flattened through to 2021.

In 2021, Sweden (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of copper pipe and fitting to Norway, with a 33% share of total imports. Moreover, copper pipe and fitting imports from Sweden exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Germany (X tons), threefold. Turkey (X tons) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 12% share.
