The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X units in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, snow motor vehicle imports soared to $X in 2022. Overall, total imports indicated a pronounced expansion from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +3.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2022, Finland (X units) constituted the largest supplier of snow motor vehicle to Norway, with a 61% share of total imports. Moreover, snow motor vehicle imports from Finland exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, the United States (X units), twofold. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.8%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when the average import price increased by 31% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Canada ($X per unit), while the price for Taiwan (Chinese) ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
