Reclaimed rubber imports into Norway surged to X tons in 2021, picking up by 19% against the previous year's figure. In general, imports, however, saw a abrupt descent. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 171%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, reclaimed rubber imports rose notably to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a abrupt curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 147% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

Germany (X tons), the UK (X tons) and China (X tons) were the main suppliers of reclaimed rubber imports to Norway, together comprising 84% of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for the UK (with a CAGR of +209.2%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced mixed trend patterns.
