As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2020 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, rice bran imports contracted to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate strong growth. In 2021, Sweden (X tons) constituted the largest rice bran supplier to Norway, with a 73% share of total imports. Moreover, rice bran imports from Sweden exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Italy (X tons), fourfold. The third position in this ranking was taken by the United States (X tons), with a 3.2% share.
