In 2021, Sweden (X tons) constituted the largest copper sanitary ware supplier to Norway, accounting for a 49% share of total imports. Moreover, copper sanitary ware imports from Sweden exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Germany (X tons), threefold. China (X tons) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 13% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume from Sweden stood at +14.9%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Germany (+0.2% per year) and China (+0.1% per year).

Over the period under review, import price indicated a remarkable increase from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +5.5% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 41% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum in 2021 and is likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.

Prices varied noticeably country of origin: the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per ton), while the price for Hong Kong SAR ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Bulgaria (+40.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
